SunnyKen > Being an avid gardener, I could not resist taking pictures of the native plants, morning dew still on the leaves....
SunnyKen > Kula Lodge is conveniently located right where the steep and windy mountain road meets the larger road between Makawao and Kula. And yes, they were just opening - and had a spectacular view from their dining room....plus excellent breakfast (and not just because we were cold and hungry).
